EatPeru.com is a labour of love. An independent bootstrapped blog dedicated to the wonderful cuisine of Peru. I’m Keith, a native English speaker, Spanish speaker, food lover, traveller, and writer.
I have experience owning and running restaurants and have lived and worked in Latin America for more than 6 years. However, my main “qualification” is a passion for good food. Comida Peruana, in particular.
My collaborators on the EatPeru website are food writers, Peruvian chefs, Latin American food critics and many enthusiasts of the wonderful food of Peru.
Elise van der Heijden
Content writer and translator Elise van der Heijden swapped the busy streets of London for the wide expanses of Peru in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the country’s customs, folklore and its food. Having lived in the jungle, Andes mountains and on the coast, she has tried a vast array of Peruvian dishes and loves sharing her experience about them so more people can discover her amazing adoptive country through its cuisine.
Christian Quispe Sánchez
Peruvian photographer and graphic designer Christian has been capturing the amazing image of his home country for almost 20 years. Specialized in nature photography, his excellent technique coupled with a unique artistic eye allow him to create stunning photos that truly showcase the best of what Peru has to offer in terms of nature, food and culture.
