EatPeru.com is a labour of love. An independent bootstrapped blog dedicated to the wonderful cuisine of Peru. I’m Keith, a native English speaker, Spanish speaker, food lover, traveller, and writer.
I am not a chef and don’t pretend to be a professional in the culinary sense. I have experience owning and running restaurants and have lived and worked in Latin America for more than 6 years. However, my main “qualification” is a passion for good food. Comida Peruana, in particular.
My collaborators on the EatPeru website are food writers, Peruvian chefs, Latin American food critics and many enthusiasts of the wonderful food of Peru.
This website is aimed more at the beginner, the newbie to Peruvian cuisine, and the curious. If you’ve stumbled across this site from a random search please stay and take a look at some of our articles. I recommend this overview of Peruvian food or this list of 10 examples of typical dishes. If you’re interested in superfoods then you might learn a thing or two from this article. Is ceviche healthy? is a question I hear a lot. Find out here. Heading to Lima? Read this first.
What I enjoy more than people reading Eatperu.com to learn about the amazing culinary treats that Peru has to offer is to receive emails from readers. I am always happy to answer readers questions about Peruvian Food, Peru, Travel to and around the country, customs, and the language of Peru.
If you would like to contact me about guest posts, advertising, syndication, or for quotes please use the contact page. I can also be contacted on social media with enquiries, shout outs, love and criticism. All welcome!
Thanks and I sincerely hope you learn from this site and enjoy the content!
If you’re interested in starting a food blog (maybe that’s why you’re reading the about page) then check out the food blogger resources I used to build this blog to 25,000 visits a month.
